The Audubon Zoo is located in the historic distract of uptown New Orleans. This zoo likes to demonstrate and display the relationships between humans and nature. Guests are lucky to be able to see the award winning Louisiana Swamp exhibit, as well as the Jaguar Jungle exhibit. Do not miss the Dinosaur Adventure Exhibit! Guests will feel like they have been transported to a pre historic environment that is comprised of giant moving dinosaur replicas. There are also sea lion and elephant presentations, 2 white tigers, and the endangered whopping crane.
Kids love to cool off at the Cool Zoo! This water and splash park consists of an alligator water slide, a spider monkey soaker, jumping water sprouts, and water spitting snakes! Dry off and head to the Flamingo Café, where guests can admire real live flamingos while eating. There is also Roman Candy, a New Orleans tradition, and the Carousel Concession stand.

The Brookfield Zoo is located just 14 miles west of downtown Chicago. This zoo, opened in 1934, gives guest a realistic view of each animal and their natural habitats. Wander the Great Bear Wilderness Exhibit and you will see bison roaming in a prairie with mountains in the distance. As you walk through this exhibit you will also see grizzly taking a swim, polar bears, and eagles soaring through the sky. If you want to get eye to eye with the animals, participate in Wild Encounters. This activity will allow guests to go behind the scenes and see some animals in an off exhibit setting. Here, you will be able to feed, sometimes hold, and learn about a particular animal’s behavior and environment.
If you have had enough land for the day seek out the Seven Seas Exhibit, you will find dolphins going aerial in their daily performances! Also, The Brookfield Zoo has a wonderful Children’s Zoo. Children can feed their favorite barn animals, and they will also be able to see special species like the reindeer.
Guests can use the Motor Safari if they are worried on how they will make it to each exhibit before the day ends. Each guest can hop on the Motor Safari all day and get off at any of the four stops throughout the park. This Motor Safari will get you to your favorite spots in no time! Walking around The Brookfield Zoo all day long can work up an appetite. The Brookfield Zoo has made an effort to distribute healthier meals to their patrons. All zoo foods are free of Trans fatty acids!
The Brookfield Zoo is introducing the X-treme Bugs Exhibit; running from May 19-September 7. See gigantic animatronic bugs and miniature live insects before it’s too late!

The Houston Zoo has utilized modern technology to assure visitors get the most out of their visit. This cutting edge technology will help guests navigate the park easily and efficiently, increase the knowledge learned, and increase the overall fun! The Houston Zoo is featuring the 4-D experience located in the African Forest. This 4-D experience involves watching a 3-D movie while bubbles, mist, scents, and lights surround you and enhance the picture.
Another technological feature the Houston Zoo offers is the Houston Zoo iphone and Android app. A visitor can download this free app to their phone to make exploring the zoo easier. This app includes a map feature to allow the guests to locate all of the exhibits, such as the Asian elephant exhibit, or the Reptile and Amphibian building. There is also the “Near You” element which will enable the guests to find eating establishments within their location. The Houston Zoo is home to the Macaw Café, Cypress Circle, and many other concessions. Guests are also more than welcome to bring their own cooler, as long as they are respectful to the zoo grounds.
Other exhibits include the Kipp Aquarium, Bird Exhibit, Natural Encounters exhibit, Wortham World of Primates, and McGoverns Children’s Zoo. This area of the zoo is designated to stimulate and educate children of all ages. Children can learn the six ecosystems of Texas, and then cool off in the water playground. An additional unique attraction the Houston Zoo has is the Naturally Wild Swap Shop. Guests are encouraged to learn about a natural item that interests them, and then bring that item to the shop. You will then discuss the knowledge you gained with their Naturalist professional, and swap your item for something new!
